Look, look, look! I got a grav trap! 😀 Lots of fish for dinner tonight!

So… In the last video Hopper was swimming around (and around, and around, and around, and – well, you get the idea!) He needed silver to make the wire for the grav trap design he had managed to scan. After some time off camera, he managed to find some sand clusters with silver in them and had enough to make his grav trap – see how things go as he puts it to work…

Today Hopper is back in Subnautica, taking a look at some of the features and build options available in the creative side of the game. A bit like Minecraft, the creative mode gives you unlimited resources and amazing build items, so you can see what will be available as you progress further with the game in survival mode.

Check out these cool features with Hopper, as he attempts to build a new, supersized base under the sea… Aquarium and vending machine anyone…? 😀

Danger! Danger!!

Yep, today Hopper has become an astronaut, ventured out into the galaxy and has somehow managed to destroy the space craft… Well, at least that’s how the Subnautica game starts!

See how Hopper copes when he crash lands in his escape pod in the middle of an ocean on an unknown planet, in this first video of Hopper’s solo series on Subnautica…

So, Subnautica…

Subnautica has been around and about for a while now (Xbox One and Steam), however, the official Steam release was only a couple of weeks ago after nearly FIVE YEARS in development!

Hopper downloaded his copy today from Steam (c. £20 in the UK) and has been pretty busy getting started in this amazingly detailed open world adventure game. Whilst we’re just playing it on the PC for now, we can only imagine that it would look AMAZING in VR and having had a few jump scares in the underwater caves so far, think it could be quite realistic too!

Hopper’s new solo series will follow his adventures in Subnautica as he tries to progress through the game and survive on the alien planet he’s crash landed on.
