We are a UK-based Mum-and-Son team, who enjoy a spot of gaming now and then 😉 Ten-year-old ‘HopperBoyE’ (was seven when we started) and Thirty-something ‘Melvis’

From Mum’s early years mastering Snapper on the Acorn Electron and James Pond during the 1990s on an Amiga 500, she graduated to some very dubious Tekken performances on her first Play Station (mainly because she loved Jun Kazama, who didn’t fare so well when she went up against giant blokes!)

When Son came along and was old enough to discover Minecraft PE and PS3 Lego games, it was only a matter of time before Mum got drawn back into things! Even as someone who likes gaming themselves, there can be quite a lot of new things to learn – especially around Minecraft – and so this blog and You Tube channel have grown out of Son’s love of YouTubers and the gaming worlds they share with their young fans, and a Mum’s attempt to navigate. Hopefully, we’ll cover the basics to help you play games yourselves, as well as introducing you to some of the family-friendly games we come across on our travels.
